When the previous owner of Genki Sushi closed his restaurants in Windsor and Waterloo, a new owner purchased the rights to the store and name and opened a fresh new restaurant in Tecumseh. Renamed Genki Sushi Noodle, JEM Software was retained to rebrand the original website and display pages featuring the revised menu. Whereas the previous restaurant also featured an on-line food ordering component, the new restaurant owners opted to go in a different direction and only maintained the website and hosting.
